California Family Therapist experience as Foster Care Social Worker

Before becoming a California Family Therapist, Lisa Dunning worked with children ages 0-18 years who were removed from their parents custody due to severe abuse and/or neglect and were placed in the foster care system.  Most of these children had extreme behavioral problems and low self esteem due to the lack of attachment and extreme abuse they suffered.  Lisa Dunning California Family Therapist provided a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment to enable the children to express their feelings of loss, sadness and anger in an appropriate manner.
